Project 1: My Community My Commitment
This project gives students the opportunity to contribute to the society while developing their creative skills. Students are to work in teams of 8-10 to identify an environmental-community related issue in their local community and come up with a solution for this issue using their creative thinking skills. The Chin's Children Education Centre was chosen by us to conduct our community project. These children from Chin, Myanmar suffer from poverty and their parents are incapable to support their education. Therefore, a shabby space is set up to provide free education for them by the local community. Attached below are the completed report and the video we produced for this project:
After completing this project, i learnt to appreciate what I have which is a financially stable family and also a stable education. I also learnt the importance of teamwork in completing a project. I look forward to participating in similar projects in the near future.
